Aspro Convention

Developed by Terence Reese over Astro convention, as similar with Landy, 2 Clubs intervention over 1 NT opennings shows at least 5-4 major distribution. Partner should declare 2 Diamonds. Then the intervenor bids his 5 cards major and the partner bids the other if he does not support the first one.

Same convention could be utilized to show 6-5 or 6-6 distributions. You can apply the following interventions over 1 NT opennings;

- 2 NT shows Black Suits
- 3 Clubs shows Minor Suits
- 3 Diamonds shows Red Suits
- 3 Hearts shows Major Suits
