Inverted Minor

This convention replaces the meanings of simple support and jump support to minor opennings. In this application simple support promises 11+ HCPs and jump support shows 6-9 HCPs. This is the classical application but since this convention is used to be preemptive, you can use a more developed version.

With 5 cards support to minor opennings, jump support shows 0-8 HCPs, which is completely preemptive. Simple support promises 12+ HCPs which is a game forcing. With 9-11 HCPs the other minor is declared with a jump, just like 2 Diamonds respond to 1 Club openning. This bidding does not give any information on the second minor but means 5 cards support to the openning minor with 9-11 HCPs.
